Creative Minds at Work
Applied Learning or Fine Arts strives to provide students with opportunities in engaging activities that will generate interest, spark passion, increase application of skills and knowledge, and facilitate communities that cultivate productive, civically-minded members of society. Applied Learning for elementary students focuses on six areas: Civic Engagement, Music & Performing Arts, Physical Education, STEM & Computer Science, and Visual Arts.
Media-through age-appropriate activities our young learners foster critical thinking and awareness of how media messages are constructed and can influence them.
Music education provides students to master the art of music-making, singing and playing simple instruments.
Physical Education-students learn about fitness, sports and the health-related benefits of an active lifestyle. It encompasses a range of sports, exercises, and games, focusing on physical, mental, and social development through activities that build strength, coordination, and teamwork.
Spanish-introduces to basic speaking, reading, listening and writing skills in Spanish, emphasizing cultural awareness through activities.
